It could be that your hands and skin have become dry and scaly and well, frankly, very unpleasant to the touch. This is not only a cosmetic issue, but is actually a health concern. Skin is our largest organ and forms a formidable first-line defence against germs and infections, as well as moisture loss. Drying skin is breaking, thinning skin. This means that your defences are down. This often happens with aging, changing seasons, or changes in diet and lifestyle (e.g. doing more gardening or outdoor activities as the weather gets nicer).

Seven Steps to a Vibrant Life

Springtime and Easter is a refreshing time of renewal and vitality, yet one of the most common complaints that we hear from our clients is “low energy levels”. Of course, many of them have medical reasons for this. Many more, however, simply cannot garner enough energy to accomplish their daily chores. We have a few tips to rectify this. (1) EXERCISE: One needs to make time for regular exercise. Exercise stimulates the mitochondria of your body’s cells to burn fuel to generate energy. Exercise also augments the production of serotonin and endorphin for mood and alertness. Some of our clients say, “I’m too tired to do any exercise.” Well, there are ways to help break the vicious cycle. Taking “Arnicare Sport” (formerly, “Sportinene”) can make unaccustomed exercise less painful as well as speed recovery. “Endura” is great during exercise as well as in recovery, while just a few sips of “Lucozade” can provide instant energy.

Circulation "Keep things in your blood going round and round (Part 1)."

"Poor circulation" is not only painful or, at best, annoying but if untreated could lead to a sedentary lifestyle which ultimately results in serious chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, stroke, and organ damage. Well, if you start doing something now, maybe your seasonal allergies will not hit you so hard this year. To prevent the annoying symptoms of weeping and sneezing all day with plugged up sinuses and itch eyes, you can try a homeopathic program that I had been using for over 20 years. Take Pollen 30CH one dose (1 ml or 2 pumps placed under the tongue) once a week and Thymuline 30CH (one little tube of granules to be melted under the tongue) also once a week but on a different day of the week, for a minimum of 5 weeks.
