I installed a programmable thermostat, I turn off lights when I leave a room or choose not to turn them on in the first place, I am replacing appliances with more energy efficient models, I am choosing to use re-usable packaging for lunches and I am taking part in a composing program at work.

I recycle everything right down to toilet paper rolls. I have recently bought an energy efficient furnace and an energy efficient tv. Lunches are always packed in reuseable lunch bags with useable containers, and reuseable drinking bottles.

I will make our earth a greener place by continuing to use glass covered containers for my work lunches,taking my bags when shopping avoiding products with excessive packaging, composting, recyling, and using evironmentally friendly products.

My spot on the earth will be characterized by consciously working at reducing the packaging I buy - i.e. choosing large containers of yogurt and using reusable containers to bring to work instead of buying the individual serving-sized yogurts.
